St. Catherine's Wheel, designed by Drew Sisk
St. Catherine's Wheel identity
St. Catherine’s Wheel is a ceramics studio in Richmond. The studio’s namesake is the patron saint of wheel‑throwing potters. The identity for St. Catherine’s Wheel is a contemporary interpretation of the stacked vertical typography found on eastern orthodox icons. The mark is a reference to the pinwheel, a traditional symbol of St. Catherine.
